Huntress Sports provided master planning, engineering, design and permitting for the new 400m Track & Field complex at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Marlborough, Massachusetts. HAI reviewed the athletic program needs, developing a Conceptual Master Plan and preliminary costs estimate for the new facilities.

The athletic program includes an 8 lane 400 meter track, multi-purpose synthetic turf field, sports lighting, 800 seat grandstand, sound system, parking lot and associated walkways, ticket booth, overlook plaza and planting design. The project team secured all local permitting including Planning Board and Conservation Commissions through the City of Marlborough and a new state highway curb cut and crosswalk signalization through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. The $3.0m project was opened on time and within budget in September of 2017.
